Fourth in our line up for 2024 is Pip Jenkins. Pip started in Triathlon in 2011 and then moved to TT where she’s had the majority of her success over the years. She’s also raced on the road and CX. In the last five years she’s been riding our ØNE Gravel/Multi-use Frameset and has found a proper love of gravel...

“This year is about riding and racing with people and will probably be more adventures than races. I’m riding the Hotchillee Stone Circle, planning to do the SSX, I want to do some closed circuit TTs, and then I have a couple other things in the planning stages at the moment, including, possibly, a return to triathlon!”

Last season Pip raced the FLND Gravel Race and really enjoyed exploring Lahti's amazing and extensive gravel tracks - the race had a heap of social rides connected with it which we’d definitely recommend. She was also one of only three people to complete the SSX Double, which consists of a 300km ride around Sussex in July, and then the 50km Nighthike in October. Breakfast in Brighton after 10 hours in the dark was amazing!

Just before Christmas we rebuilt Pip’s HMŔ Road Bike which she’ll use for club TTs and road this year - it features a set of ÆIGHT WHEELWØRKS ULTIMÅTE Wheels and a SRAM AXS Group. For Open TTs she has a bespoke Roberts TT frame with Pro finishing kit and Shimano Di2.

“The support from ÆIGHT BIKE CØ allows me to continue to push myself and develop my knowledge. I can trust my bikes are always perfect and the detail and thought you put in are amazing.”

Pip developed from a background in Triathlon to racing national level Open TT, she specialised in endurance events and currently holds the outright club records for the 12 and 24-hour time trails, and has collected more than 30 Open TT wins along the way. This year sees her move away from Time Trailing, taking on new off-road adventures and she may even go back to her roots of Triathlon. Follow her on Instagram and Facebook.

We’re always looking for riders to be part of our ÆIGHT CØLLECTIVE. The #aeightbikeco is about doing things a little differently - Rather than a jersey being the common theme, we kit our riders out with bespoke steel bikes and handbuilt wheels made in our Sussex workshops, the ÆIGHT WHEELWØRKS and the ÆIGHT MANUFACTØRY. We then support each other at events and races regionally, nationally and internationally - whether that’s for mountain bike, ‘cross, gravel, crit, road or TT - it’s what we call, the #aeightbikeco

The best part is that we’re not asking you to leave your team or club - that includes racing in your club/team kit. We’ve got certain brands that we work with, mostly so we can standardise shared equipment, but your own sponsors and clubs are almost always welcome. We have some strict qualifying criteria but don’t be put off by this – if you’re interested in being part of the #aeightbikeco then please get in touch by emailing your racing CV to
