STEEL FRAMES
Fully bespoke frames #madeinsweetsussex from steel. We started building frames in 2013 and then spent five years building, riding and racing them under the watchful eye of Geoff Roberts. We now have three models to choose from; the ØNE, the HMR and the AXE. Race frames that are designed to be fun all week and then deliver podiums on Sunday. ÆIGHTØNE
Our first frame - designed to do-it-all.
That’s a big statement to make, but it’s far more simple than it sounds. Until recently the components didn’t exist, but now that they do, I wanted to build the bike that I’d first imagined 20 years ago. Think of it as being modular – It can be fitted with 700c Adventure wheels/tyres, 700c Road wheels/tyres and even 650b off-road wheels/tyres. This means that with just one frameset built up, the ØNE can be ridden on any surface – if you build a collection of wheels you can make the decision in the morning ad simply fit the wheel/tyre combination that you desire.
But it doesn’t stop there – we’ve tested a system with our own racers that allows you to switch the cockpit, fork and chainring out in a modular fashion which allows the use of road, gravel or flat bars, different forks and gearing, making the entire bike customizable before hitting the road or the dirt. For this reason the ØNE is best built up with Di2 or eTap, it’s hydraulic disc only and uses bolt-thru axles. As a complete bike it can be ridden on your local trails after work, raced at the weekend, ridden to the other side of the world, taken out on the club run, loaded up for a trip, used to explore that bridleway that’s always intrigued you or to just simply escape. Available in virtually any paint and design to suit the rider and budget.
ÆIGHTHMŔ
A race bike, built for Anglo-Saxon breakaways.
Designed and built in Sussex where the hills are short and steep, just like the Flemish Ardennes. Lightweight classic looks meet contemporary features – the superlight main tubes are fillet brazed into an oversized intergrated headtube to create the best mix of lightweight and front-end feel along with super clean looks.
The skinny seat stays are joined lower down on the seat tube and they continue to the top tube creating the perfect blend of compliance whilst retaining drivetrain stiffness and efficiency. Stamp on the pedals and the bike flies - Go steady and you'll stay comfortable all day long.
The s-bend chainstays allow the use of a double groupset but we feel that a single ring is best – either way with the modular fittings at the back it’s possible to set the bike up for virtually any groupset. Bolt-thru axles give the rider the best feedback when sprinting or cornering and we keep the weight down by using the very best tubesets available, specced for the individual rider. Available in virtually any paint and design to suit the rider and budget. The perfect companion for solo breakaways and days in the bunch alike.

ÆIGHTÄXE
Our flat out, race-ready, trail hardtail
Designed to blast the local trails all week long and then raced to the podium on Sunday. As standard it features a 69 degree head angle and a 74 degree seat angle, which makes it playful but still purposeful. A short wide cockpit, bolt-thru axles and 1x drivetrain are key to the design and the long wheelbase gives you amazing confidence at speed even on the steepest rooty downhills.
Best built up with XC/trail in mind we’ve built bikes at less than 10kg which adds an amazing amount of climbing ability and makes technical sections a breeze. The bespoke wheels help with this as does the choice of fork, which are both selected for the individual. Again we have various builds ready for any rider which we’ve tested in the heart of Sussex and further afield to ensure that you have the perfect machine for riding and/or racing. Available in virtually any paint and design to suit the rider and budget.
