With the PRIMØ version, we always aim to produce a bike which we would be happy to own and ride ourselves - unlike other brands "base model", we're very proud that ours is the finished article, perfect for a rider that just wants solid, reliable, well thought out kit.
With that in mind the ÄXE PRIMØ features the same fully bespoke lightweight steel frame as the rest of the ÄXE family, a Rockshox Reba RL 120mm fork, ÆIGHT PRIMØ Handbuilt HWEÓLS (or Hope Hoops), a choice of Tyre based on your needs, a Shimano XT Mechanical 12 Speed Drivetrain (with an option to upgrade to Di2), Shimano XT Brakes and a Pro Finishing kit (with an option to upgrade to a Pro Dropper Post).
Our "standard" paint for the ÄXE is a fade (in your choice of colour) and a contrasting logo but as always there is an option to upgrade to just about any paint you can think of - we will of course help guide you at every stage of the process!

Our DËLUX version is your gateway to racing - it has the same intention and mindset as our top flight bikes and focuses on function. If you're dipping your toe into regional racing or you're after a bike which is always singletrack ready, this is the build for you.
Therefore the ÄXE DËLUX features our fully bespoke lightweight steel 29er hardtail frame just like all of our ÄXE family, the ultralight Rockshox Sid Select 120mm fork, ÆIGHT DËLUX Handbuilt HWEÓLS, a choice of tyre based on your needs, a SRAM GX Eagle 12 Speed Drivetrain (with an option to upgrade to AXS Wireless), Hope Brakes and a Ritchey Finishing kit (with an option to upgrade to a Rockshox Reverb AXS Wireless Dropper Post).
Paint for the ÄXE can be anything from a simple fade with a contrasting logo (included in the frame price), all the way through to just about anything you can think of (as an option)! How will you paint yours?

On a Stage Race the riders bike's are serviced every day, but it's not like a Bike Shop Service - It focuses on all the things you need, none of what you don't! We offer this service at the Service Corse, and also at races or rides, for individual riders, groups and teams.
The bike's are first washed to remove all of the grime from the road (and the riders)! The drivetrain is degreased and the chain is either waxed or lubed. The brake function and the pads are checked, and the gears are checked, and adjusted. The wheels are washed, checked for true, and the tyres are double checked. Once the bike is back together we check the headset for play, safety check all the bolts, and then we test ride the bike.
This is a great service to pick if your bike is working well, but you have a race or event coming up where you want that extra piece of mind. It's also perfect for group bookings mid race/event/ride when the bike's are behaving, but they need to be in tip top condition for the last few days!

Wax versus oil is a hot topic and there's not always a clear cut winner - there's definitely still bikes and races where oil is king. But in the majority of cases we see, wax is normally a better option.
Waxing can seem a bit confusing - mostly because there's a lot of misinformation out there designed to make you think it's very hi-tech. The truth is, waxes have existed in bike technology since the 90's and whilst we apply them slightly differently in some cases, it's not rocket science! If you're going to use wax you'll want to top the chain up with drip-wax, after we've soaked your chain in a hot wax solution, and for this reason, we offer standalone waxing, but also a bundle which includes the chain, hot waxing and a bottle of drip wax.
We've tested heaps of different waxes and solutions and have settled upon our favourites, so book yourself in now for a hot wax treatment on your new or existing drivetrain, or simply contact us for advice about when to make the switch! It's cleaner, quieter and in most cases, faster! We can easily add this service into any regular service.
